We are thrilled to finally announce that this June will see the launch of our first memoir, Street Girl, written by Brazilian author, Rozana McGrattan.
Street Girl documents Rozana’s real-life story of how she overcame poor health, famine and endless abuse on the streets of Brazil – a particularly relevant issue given the country’s participation as the host nation in this summer’s Olympics.
“Having a young daughter myself,” said chief editor, Jody Medland, “and knowing that Brazil will be portrayed as a glamourous destination in the summer, I felt we had to shine a light on Rozana’s story. It’s heartbreaking, and I hope people allow themselves to learn about Brazil’s problems so we can help Brazil’s street boys and street girls have a better future.”
Pre-order your copy of Street Girl today, and we’ll send you a signed copy on the day of its release!
