ROZANA McGRATTAN is an unlikely novelist who was born in a poverty stricken part of Brazil. It is her transition from such an unprivileged background to becoming a successful business woman in London – where she raises her two beautiful children – that forms the basis of her memoir, Street Girl.
Throughout her book she candidly discusses issues such as drink, drugs, rape, corruption and murder, which plagues the streets of Brazil, leading her to fall in love with Hertfordshire in England, where she is now a successful business woman.
Rozana has a wealth of experience in the marketing and promotional arenas, and has made many contacts in the British and Brazilian media.
The years of abuse she suffered also leads her to write “Street Poetry,” which reveals that the past is never far from her mind.
